What we collect

Account data: email, nickname, optional avatar URL. We need this to authenticate you.
Content: vents, reactions, comments, chat messages (public or private).
Technical: basic logs and error traces (non-sensitive) to keep the service reliable.

Public vs. Private chat

Public chat: visible to all authenticated users. Messages are stored to display history.
Private AI chat: only the vent author can read. We store messages to provide context to the AI and allow you to continue later.

How we use data

Authenticate users and secure access to chat rooms.
Display your content to you and, where applicable, to the community.
Generate AI replies (context is limited to the conversation you’re in).
Detect and prevent abuse in line with our Guidelines.

Sharing & retention

We don’t sell your personal data.
We may share data if required by law or to protect users from harm.
Logs are retained only as long as needed for reliability and abuse prevention.

Your choices

Update nickname or avatar at any time.
Request account and content deletion via Support. We’ll verify ownership before acting.
